HAVE A BAD TAN???
House Beauties know that 'bad tans' are all about poor preparation and aftercare.
If you are going patchy, this is for you.
Patches occur from lack of exfoliation, either before the tan or during fade off.
Yeah, you heard me. Exfoliating after a tan. Am I nuts? Well, yes a little, BUT, you must exfoliate gently after 3 days of having a tan so your dead skin cells fall off at a similar rate. If they all fall of willy nilly that's when patches occur. Add in your oil-free tan extender lotion after using your mitt and you will look freshly tanned for longer!
So what does this exceptional mitt do??
Perfect for those with dry skin conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema and bumpy keratosis pilaris, this mitt will remove the dead skin cells on the surface, leaving your skin smoother than ever before. This alone is super softening, but is also allows your moisturisers, body butters and masks to work properly as they can get to your new skin, which means you stay smoother for longer (or oil-free tan extender if you are tanned).
This mitt prepares your skin perfectly for your next spray tan application, resulting in an even and longer lasting spray tan. It even removes a spray tan! For real! Finally something that works!
To Remove a Tan
The less you prepared the easier it will be, so if you exfoliated really well before hand it will take longer. Soak in an oily bath, lather up and wash as normal. Then out of the water, with a wet and wringed out tan remover mitt, get scrubbing. You will literally see your dead skin coming off. This is normal. Extremely gratifying too.
Prevent ingrown hairs, particularly on underarms and your bikini line, this mitt works well with your after waxing lotion and spray. When waxing you need to be exfoliating regularly so this is your best all rounder. Use the black side before your next wax and the pink side for weekly upkeep.
So once you've scrubbed a tan off, you will know that you end up with a dirty bath full of dead skin, so before you chuck your mitt in the wash, pop a bit of washing up liquid (or lets be honest shower gel is closer) on it and run it round the rim of the bath! I know this sounds gross but I'm 100% into anything that saves me time, especially when it comes to scrubbing both my body and cleaning and it doesn't damage the mitt.
Forget all those body scrubs with chunks of plastic and nuts that are too abrasive for your skin, this is the best product to have in your beauty arsenal.
